Why is slime so satisfying?
There are a few reasons why, but one of the most popular theories is that it’s because slime is a non-Newtonian fluid. This means that it doesn’t follow the rules of regular liquids like water. When you apply pressure to slime, it doesn’t just squish down and become compressed like water would instead it changes its form completely! This makes it super satisfying to watch and play with.
Does slime help with sensory?
Slime is also a great tactile sensory tool. This means that it can help kids (and adults!) with things like fine motor skills, concentration, and stress relief. slime is definitely a unique substance, and we think it’s pretty amazing!
